Make some headway.
A thirty-minute timer gives you 1,800 seconds for a longer work block. It can help you put a clear end point on a meeting, a writing session, or a household task. Pause the countdown if you need to step away, then resume from the remaining time.
Set aside thirty minutes to plan your week. Use the first part to review unfinished work and the rest to choose your priorities. Stop at the chime to keep planning from taking over the day.

How does the alarm work?
With Sound on, a short chime plays at zero. Use Test alarm sound to check your device volume. The timer also shows a completion message and updates the browser tab title. Keep the tab open and your device awake; browser and device settings can delay or block sound.
Can I use a custom duration?
Yes. Enter a duration from one second to 24 hours, then press Apply duration. Pause a running countdown before changing its custom duration. The plus button adds a minute while it runs.
What happens if I switch tabs?
The timer recalculates the time left from its finish time. Your session is saved on this device and restored after a refresh or when you return to the same timer page. After a refresh, test sound to enable the alarm. A closed tab or another mode cannot play this alarm, and a sleeping device may delay it.
Is Minute free to use?
Yes. Every timer is free and works without an account, a download, or a sign-up. Timer sessions and sound preferences are saved in this browser only. Reset a timer to clear its progress, or clear this site’s browser data to remove saved settings.
